We checked 63 websites of Tashkent logistics companies against 30 measurable criteria. The sample covers freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, courier services and a warehouse operator. Logistics turned out to be the most English-speaking sector we have studied. More than half of the sites (54%) have an English version. Technically, though, no sector is more neglected. Of the 142 addresses we found in public sources, only 63 (44%) opened properly. Among those that did, 41% have no H1 heading and 35% have no meta description. Over half (52%) run no analytics. And 30% still show 2024 or an earlier year in the footer. Below you'll find every figure, the method and 4 key steps for the head of a logistics company.
Data collected on 17–18 October 2026. A 101digital study, Tashkent. We looked only at public pages and do not name companies.
Key figures
- Of the 142 logistics company addresses we found in public sources, only 63 turned out to be working websites. The rest are dead, parked, duplicate another domain, lead to a foreign parent company or fail to open because of an expired certificate.
- An English version exists on 54% of the sites and an Uzbek one on 33%. Another 35% are Russian-only.
- 8% of the sites run without HTTPS, and 8 sites are not adapted for phones. These are the worst figures of any sector we have studied.
- Only 8% of the sites have organisation markup for Google (LocalBusiness). Markup of any kind appears on 25%.
- 41% have no H1 heading and 35% have no meta description. Only 19% mention “Tashkent” in the title.
- 52% of the sites have neither Google Analytics nor Yandex Metrica.
- 21% of the sites take longer than 1 second to respond. The average response time is 1.21 s and the median is 0.52 s.
- 16% show no working contact channel on the homepage. No clickable phone number, no form, no Telegram, no WhatsApp.
- Only 2 sites out of 63 meet all 5 basic requirements (HTTPS, mobile version, markup, sitemap, Uzbek version).
What we checked and how
We built the list of companies on 17–18 October 2026 from public sources. We used search queries in Russian, Uzbek and English, the top.uz, yellowpages.uz and goldenpages.uz directories, international freight forwarder directories and industry lists. That gave us 142 domains. We excluded 64 of them before testing. Of these, 18 domains do not resolve in DNS and 5 are parked or show a placeholder page. Some redirect to a foreign parent company or to a directory page. Some duplicate another domain of the same company. Others turned out to be global sites of foreign carriers with no Uzbek legal entity. On top of that, 15 addresses failed to open during the check. The usual culprit was an expired or mismatched SSL certificate. Instead of the site, the browser shows the visitor a red warning.
The final sample had 63 working sites. It includes 27 forwarders and carriers, 30 customs brokers and companies offering brokerage, 5 courier services and a warehouse operator. For each site, a script downloaded the homepage, robots.txt and sitemap.xml and recorded the HTTP headers and response time. We did not log into accounts or open hidden pages. A criterion counted only if the homepage code confirmed it. Take the “Uzbek version”. It counted if the homepage opens in Uzbek or the code links to an Uzbek version. That link can be an hreflang tag, a URL like /uz/ or a language switcher.
Fewer than half of directory addresses lead to a working site
| Status | Addresses | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Working site, included in the study | 63 | 44% |
| Did not open during the check (expired certificate, timeout, bot protection) | 15 | 11% |
| Domain does not resolve (DNS) or is parked | 23 | 16% |
| Global site of a foreign carrier, duplicate, redirect to a directory or parent company, not Tashkent | 41 | 29% |

For a B2B sector, this is a serious problem. A potential client (an importer, an exporter, a procurement manager) finds the company in a directory and clicks the link. What they get is a blank page or a browser warning. The contract goes to the company whose site simply opens.
English on half the sites, Uzbek on a third
| Site languages | Sites | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Russian only | 22 | 35% |
| Russian + Uzbek + English | 21 | 33% |
| Russian + English | 12 | 19% |
| English only | 1 | 2% |
| Language not identified (almost no text on the homepage) | 7 | 11% |
| Source: 101digital study, October 2026. We looked at the homepage language, hreflang tags, language version URLs and the language switcher. | ||
Logistics firms work with foreign cargo owners. That is why English shows up here more often than in any other sector we have studied (54% against 36% for dental clinics). An Uzbek version exists on 33% of the sites. Yet 13 of those 21 sites still open in Russian. Only 25% have hreflang tags set up. On the rest, Google may treat the language versions as duplicates. The most telling finding concerns 7 sites. Their homepages carry so little text that the language cannot be identified. These are business-card sites with a logo, a phone number and a slider.
8% of sites lack HTTPS and 8 lack a mobile version
| Check | Met | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Site opens over HTTPS | 58 | 92% |
| HTTP redirects to HTTPS | 46 | 73% |
| Mobile layout (meta viewport) | 55 | 87% |
| robots.txt file | 51 | 81% |
| Sitemap (sitemap.xml) | 29 | 46% |
| Canonical URL | 32 | 51% |
| Open Graph (preview in Telegram) | 31 | 49% |
| HSTS | 21 | 33% |
| Response compression | 57 | 90% |

Five sites run on unsecured HTTP. Six have a certificate that expires within the next 30 days. Eight are not adapted for phones. Procurement managers often look for a carrier on their phone, between meetings. A site with no mobile version loses that enquiry. There is no sitemap on 54% of the sites. So Google learns about new pages (routes, rates, news) late or not at all.
Only 8% have markup for Google and AI search
Structured data tells a search engine that it is looking at an organisation with an address, a phone number and a line of business. Organisation markup (LocalBusiness) appears on 5 sites out of 63. Markup of any type appears on 16 sites (25%). In most cases it is the generic Organization type with no address or services. Not a single site uses specialised types such as MovingCompany or describes its services with Service. AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) matches a website to an organisation. Without markup, the company sits in the index, but AI search can't put a face to the name.
41% have no H1, only 19% put “Tashkent” in the title
| Check | Sites | Share |
|---|---|---|
| No title tag | 3 | 5% |
| Title under 30 characters (usually just the name) | 23 | 37% |
| Title over 60 characters | 17 | 27% |
| “Ташкент” / “Toshkent” / “Tashkent” in the title | 12 | 19% |
| No meta description | 22 | 35% |
| No H1 heading | 26 | 41% |
| More than one H1 | 8 | 13% |

The typical title of a Tashkent logistics site is just the company name, such as “XYZ Logistics”. No service, no city, no route. Such a site will not pick up searches like “грузоперевозки Ташкент Китай” (freight Tashkent China), “таможенный брокер Ташкент” (customs broker Tashkent) or “yuk tashish Toshkent”. Being the market leader won't help.
One site in five takes over a second to respond
- The median server response time is 0.52 s and the average is 1.21 s. Slow sites pull the average up sharply.
- Almost half of the sites (46%) respond in under 0.5 s. 21% take longer than 1 second, and 3 sites take longer than 2 seconds.
- The median HTML size is 70 KB. On 6 sites it exceeds 500 KB.
- Modern image formats (WebP/AVIF) appear on 30% of sites, and lazy loading of images on 21%.
We measured response time from Europe. Absolute values will differ for a user in Tashkent, but the comparison between sites still holds. Google advises staying within 0.8 s (web.dev, Time to First Byte).
How companies take enquiries
| Element | Sites | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Phone number in +998 format | 51 | 81% |
| Clickable phone number (tel:) | 41 | 65% |
| Enquiry / quote form | 43 | 68% |
| “Send a request” / “Get a quote” call to action | 22 | 35% |
| Telegram link | 26 | 41% |
| 12 | 19% | |
| Map of the office or warehouse | 9 | 14% |
| Prices / rates mentioned | 34 | 54% |
| Phone + Telegram + form together | 19 | 30% |
| No contact channel on the homepage | 10 | 16% |
| Source: 101digital study, October 2026. | ||
Ten sites, one in six, give visitors no clickable phone, no form and no messenger on the homepage. Only 14% show a map of their office or warehouse. Yet for a cargo owner, the terminal address is a practical matter. A freight cost calculator has long been standard in Russia and Kazakhstan. In our sample, it turns up only in isolated cases.
52% of companies don't know where their clients come from
- Google Analytics is installed on 35% of sites.
- Yandex Metrica is also on 35%.
- The Meta pixel is on 6%.
- 33 sites (52%) have no tracking at all.
Customs brokers do slightly better, with tracking on 53% of sites. Forwarders do worse, at just 41%. Without tracking, you cannot tell whether the site brings in even one enquiry a month. Nor can you compare it with a Telegram channel or referrals.
30% of sites show an outdated year in the footer
On 19 of the 63 sites, the footer shows 2024 or an earlier year. That is the highest “abandonment” rate of any sector we have studied. On 14 sites, the homepage has fewer than 300 words of text. Of the 1,514 images, 50% have no alt text, and on 8 sites not a single image has it. Custom-built or unidentified platforms account for 57% of the sites. WordPress runs 24%, Tilda 8%, and the rest use Bitrix, Joomla or Wix.
Only 2 sites out of 63 meet every requirement
Five requirements don't depend on budget: HTTPS, a mobile layout, organisation markup, a sitemap and an Uzbek version. Only 2 sites out of 63 meet all of them. Drop the Uzbek requirement and the number rises to 5. In Tashkent logistics, the bar is so low that technical tidiness becomes a competitive edge in itself. A mid-budget site built without errors outranks most competitors in search.
4 key steps for the head of a logistics company
- Open your site on a phone in incognito mode. If the browser warns about the certificate or the page doesn't fit the screen, start there. Nothing else matters until that is fixed.
- Set up a redirect from HTTP to HTTPS and automatic certificate renewal.
- Put the service, route and city in the title. For example, “Freight China — Uzbekistan, customs clearance in Tashkent | Company”. Add a meta description and one H1 per page.
- Build separate pages for routes (China, Turkey, Europe), transport modes (road, rail, air) and brokerage services. That is how clients search.

Limitations of the study
- We checked only the homepage, robots.txt and sitemap.xml. Inner pages were not analysed.
- Criteria were detected automatically from the HTML code. Sites that load content with scripts may have scored lower on languages, forms and markup.
- The 15 sites that failed to open are not included in the criteria statistics. Some of them may work normally if a visitor accepts the browser's certificate warning.
- Response time was measured from Europe.
- The sample covers 63 sites found in public sources over two days. Companies without a website are not included.
- Data recorded on 17–18 October 2026.

101digital research series “Tashkent business websites, 2026”: dental clinics, private clinics, manufacturing, auto business, jewellery business.
Of the 142 addresses 101digital found in public directories in October 2026, 63 sites (44%) opened properly. Another 15 failed to open because of an expired certificate or a timeout. A further 23 domains are dead or parked. The rest are duplicates, redirects to foreign companies or sites outside Tashkent.
A Russian version exists on 87% of the sites, an English one on 54% and an Uzbek one on 33%. Russian-only sites make up 35%, and 33% use all three languages. Logistics has the highest share of English versions of any sector 101digital has studied.
Organisation markup (LocalBusiness) appears on 8% of the sites (5 of 63). Markup of any type appears on 25%. No site uses the specialised types for carriers.
In all, 52% of the sites (33 of 63) have no Google Analytics, no Yandex Metrica and no Meta pixel. Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica are each installed on 35% of the sites.
The median server response time is 0.52 s and the average is 1.21 s. 21% of the sites take longer than 1 second to respond, and 3 sites take longer than 2 seconds. Another 8 sites are not adapted for phones.
101digital ran the study on 17–18 October 2026. It collected 142 domains of Tashkent logistics companies from public sources and excluded 64 irrelevant or dead ones. A script then checked the homepages of 63 working sites against 30 criteria. These cover HTTPS, mobile version, languages, markup, headings, speed, contact channels, analytics and images. Company names are not published, and the data is aggregated.
